Occupation of Bunnya 1

The invasion of Bunnya, called by many generals in the Goeliathian system as "The Pointless Invasion", was a humiliating few months of a confusing occupation of the planet Bunnya.

After the initial invasion of the planet and the Xenos forces began closing in on the Capital, all enemy resistance had ceased almost immediately. It was to the point where Xenos forces just marched right into the Capital. Initially thinking the battle for the planet had been one there was celebration amongst the ranks. The following month proved wrong. It became clearer and clearer to the Xenos forces planetside that the invasion was completely pointless except to show enemies of the Cohalition the strength of Goeliathian might. There was little natural resources that could be exploited, and 80% of the planets population were tourists come to visit the "Beach Planet". The Xenos Soldiers realized they were overequipped for the invasion, and in their armor and suits in the 100 degree weather proved to be the most discomfortable experience ever. To make things worse, the invasion wasn't even taken seriously. In fact, had made Bunnya an even bigger tourist trap, as people from other worlds wanted to see the "Xenos Hordes" as the Bunnyian advertisements put it. The soldiers felt more like miserable zoo animals, constantly being photographed, and walked up to as if they weren't even enemy combatants.

And when the Xenos forces originally celebrated their 'victory' over Bunnyan forces, the Bunnyans never surrendered the planet. Everytime the Xenos flag was raised, the next day Bunnyan Shiks just came and raised the Bunnyan flag. The Xenos soldiers were strictly forbidden to shoot the Bunnyan Shiks because they were technically unarmed and un-combative. Even the POW camp set up in the beginning of the invasion seemed like a summer camp to the Shik prisoners taken there in the beginning. They were playing volleyball and just relaxing around. Tourists were even using the old landing site of the initial invasion to give tours of the battlefield.

At one point a Bunnyan propaganda team came by and took pictures of a group of Xenos soldiers, sitting down miserably in the sand and handed out pamphlets back out to the Xenos troopers titled "Fun In the Sun" with the caption of the miserable Xenos soldiers.

---------------------------------------------------

"uuuuuuuugh.." Treiarch 3 groaned, looking up towards the sun; shielding his face with his hand. He was sweating profusely in his shock absorbent body suit. Looking around at all of the people playing on the beach of the nearby ocean. "This place... This place is hell." He muttered, wiping the sweat from his face. He turned to Treiarch 2, "By the way, where'd you get the mask?"

"Stole a towel from a tourist..." He replied, groaning.

They got closer to a group of two more Xenos Drones, sitting back to back, being showcased to some tourists by a local Bunnyan resident.

"And here you can see some of the invading soldiers of the Xenos Horde." The tour guide went on

One of the two Xenos soldiers sitting down shouted back to the tourist group, "Hey go fuck yourselves!" before raising both of the middle fingers into the air. "Fucking tourists." She muttered to herself.

The tourists just smiled and waved back, one even threw up peace signs. One of them shouted back, "I'd invade a place like this too! It's so beautiful!"

Treiarch 3 just groaned. "Goddamned civilians. Who the hell lets them through the blockade?"

"The navy." Treiarch 2 replied, aggrivated.

A Shik soldier ran up behind Treiarch 3 and 2 to another Xenos soldier who was keeping watch over the rest of his comrades. "Hey, we're short a few players, do you guys wanna play a round?" She said holding up the volleyball

"For the last time! Tell your forces to lay down their arms and surrender the planet to Xenos control! Your puny fleet was destroyed and your army is in shambles! By our right we have taken control of this planet!" General Mistla shouted

"We don't have any arms to currently lay down though.." The Bunnyan Shik behind the desk said calmly.

"Aha! So your army has surrendered!"

"Noooo... We're just not fighting. And could you stop disrespecting government property? We're running out of flags because you guys keep tearing them down."

"Yes! Not fighting after a declaration of war, then being invaded means you surrender! This planet is Xenos territory now!" Mistla shouted

"What? You'll have to rephrase that, I didn't quite understand.." The Shik said puzzled.

"Hey who's the old guy?" A second Shik said as she walked into the room.

"I am Major General Mistla of the Xenos 2nd army! I am the man that has taken over your damned rock of a planet!" He said, toned raised, clenching his fists together.

"When did we get taken over?" The 2nd Shik asked. The 1st one at the chair just looked at her and shrugged.

"You surrendered!"

"No, we just stopped fighting. Big difference." The 1st shik replied.

"This planet is so infuriating!" Mislta said, pulling at his hair.

"Listen, if it's that big a deal, I could probably get you guys a 10% military discount at some of the hotels in the city" The 1st Shik said.

"What kind of a backwards planet is this?!" Mistla shouted.

The second Shik rested her arm on the shoulder of one of the Xenos Drone guards. "Hey by the way, do you guys wanna play volleyball at all? Our team is pretty good, but we haven't seen you guys play yet." She said raising the ball. Before turning to the Xenos Drone, "Plus, you're kinda cute. You can be on my team."

The Drone just stood there, staring blankly forward. "I hate this fuck'n planet.." He muttered..

--------------------------

Though most military tacticians and historians will have sided that Xenos did in fact win the invasion, the Bunnyans will probably disagree, as there was no official surrender. The Xenos wouldn't be staying much longer on Bunnya. It was a waste of resources keeping an army of that size on a planet with nothing to gain from for so long. The last thing the Xenos forces did before leaving though was burning every Bunnyan flag they found and raising the Xenos flag above the capital building. Kind of like a last 'fuck you' to the Bunnyans before leaving.

The entirety of the Xenos invasion force was recalled back to Goeliathian space. Since the Kasparov CIA's blockade is surrounding my blockade around Zur, I safely withdrew my forces from a situation that in the long story would be the most pointless thing ever, threw on one of the toothpick flags on their planets and just said, fuck it, it's probably our i guess?

--------------------------
This whole story was based on me noting to Bunny75 about the invasion. in short this is how it went:

me- "So i have control of your space and your small military isn't going to be stopping an army of this size anytime soon. You can continue fighting or surrender. your choice.
:iconbunny75: - "okay yeah, I'll have my military response up tomorrow."

That clever asshole's military response was to do nothing. Anti-climatic as hell. So I decided to spoof off of this complete confusion of an RP scenario and make this.

This takes place in my own fantasy setting during what was known as the "Age of War". It was Mythiris second major war, however this one spanned the globe and involved nearly every country unlike its predecessor (ww1) which only included the Continent of Coralis.

In the North after a series of revolutions pre-industrial age, much of the only two major northern countries (Nordskvar and Skandvar) split off into several smaller ones. Zabrev was one of these countries that claimed independence first. Living as far North as the Snow Elves that inhabited the Zabrev region were, the Norse easily gave it up with little debate. The area was far too cold for humans to bear. During Coralis's ww1 phase Zabrev claimed Neutrality, however found the war an opportunistic moment to use their money not for warfare but to be able to improve their nation and it's infrastructure to bring it up to speed with the modern world. As eager as they were to improve their country, they were still hesitant to try and not distance themselves from their old customs and culture. Zabrev would only build three cities. two for industry, and their capital, for commerce. They aside from the three cities they would continue to live in tribal-village like society. Their religions and their customs would not change much.

Zabrev Never had a large military. As a country it sat out every single war Coralis had. The military it does have ranges around 80,000 and relies heavily on surplus Nordic uniforms and weaponry to supply them. Though their people live longer than most humans, which gave their military time to train constantly, they were never truly prepared for an actual war, and when the time came; the army shattered.

In the dawn of the second great war, all the rules changed. There would be almost no neutral countries in Coralis. Those that think differently would soon learn otherwise. When the Skandish military began their conquest westward, Zabrev was quickly pushed back. One by One, each of the three cities fell. The third and last city to fall was Tolkerva; a city created for the manufacture of heavy metals (to be sold to other countries to make into whatever product then sell back), the harvesting of petroleum, and the primary export and import station of grains and other materials. Tolkerva officially fell, but the fighting force that had survived and remained trapped in the city was near 500 soldiers. The length of time the city was held before being recaptured by the Zabrev military was 4 months, before falling once again to Skandish soldiers. The second defeat marked the end of the last Zabrev push. The order was called for a full retreat of all military personal to Nordskvar. This time leaving behind a good 1,000 soldiers trapped in the city, quickly being picked off.

This story takes place about one month after the second Zabrev push.

Ghosts of Zur

$

It started off as whispers. The indigenous people of Zur would speak of the ghosts. Those who had fallen in battle yet still walk. It was passed off as superstition. Just more ramblings of the uncivilized tribal people. Nobody knew the dangers that really exist.

Jerid was frustrated. They had been trying to raise communication with outpost 12 and 17 for three days now. They had gone dark in those three days. Nobody had heard from them at all, but no alarms were triggered. The small communications relay post 2 had half of it's men trying to raise communication, but they only thing they could receive from the bases before they went dark was a strange high pitched tone. It was something they had never heard before. Eerie almost in the way it broadcasted before everything shut down. Outpost 10 had promised to send two of their force of 10 to re-establish comms.

"Maybe it was just a communications failure? the radios were old after all." Jerid thought to himself, "The Staevik hadn't shown any intention of attacking or looking for us.. so its probably just the radios.."

Melvin sat next to Jerid, keeping the comms with outpost 10 open.

"They're about two minutes away from 12." The voice on the other line said, "Stay on and we'll rely everything, one of them has a camera."

"Roger, we'll set up the TV to play.." Melvin said, flipping a few switches, then turning to the TV behind him and programming it.

The TV flickered on, and a view of a jungle of small cliffs, rocks, trees, and tall grass. The camera came in range of outpost 12. It was a small indent into the cliffside. There one lookout tower stood. Empty. Not a single sign of life had appeared.

The screen started to get fuzzy with static as Melvin turned back to the moniters and speakers connected to outpost 10. "You're breaking up 10, what's going on?"

"There's something interfe- ...........-with chan-............-try-.........." The line turned all static.

Then there it was... That high pitched sound... It was there for 5 minutes before everything went dead.

"DAMMIT!" Melvin shouted, slamming the palm of his hand against the speaker. "Useless old piece of shit!"

Jerid was too frustrated to continue. Nothing was making sense, they couldn't raise comms, and they were working with outdated technology. "I'm gonna go take a piss." He said to Melvin, standing up, putting on his mask, and walking outside.

The post was located in a small forest on the moon of New Zur. It was hidden within the jungle and relayed everything down to the outposts on New Zur

One of the guards saw Jerid walking off post and shouted "Hey! If you're gonna take a piss, do it AWAY from the post! I'm sick of the smell always coming back up here!"

Jerid just raised his middle finger and walked off. The night was unusually quiet. Usually some sort of animal would make a noise, but there was just nothing going on. He looked around, into pitch blackness. Zipping up his pants he began to walk back until he heard the crack of a branch.

He froze.

There it was again. Another cracking sound. Something is out there. something is watching him. He turned around quickly to see the shadowy movements of figures. They were coming towards him! Towards the base! He darted behind the nearest tree.

Footsteps coming closer.

His heart raced. He didn't know what to do. They footsteps sounded like they were right behind the tree he was hiding at now. Jerid looked down for his pistol, realizing he had left it in the post.

They stopped.

Slowly, a hand reached up and grabbed the tree. It looked like it was one of the gloves the Shiks wear. Then a head appeared. It looked like it was scanning for something, slowly moving from side to side.

"Is this one of the Shik units that landed here not too long ago?" He thought. He was about to say something when the head of the Shik turned towards him.

The scar. The pasty eyes. The lifeless look. That was no Shik. AT least not anymore.. More moved past him. A horde of these things. Straight towards the outpost. The minutes seemed like hours, until all of the figures moved into the darkness and disappeared.

Then screaming. It was the outpost.

Jerid ran. He didn't care where he just ran. Away. Away from the post. Away from everything.

-------------------------------------------------------

When Kasparov sent blockade runners to get past the Staevik blockade around New Zur, the Staevik Empire had to speed up their little "science experiment" Realizing it was only a matter of time before an assault on the bubble-colonies on the planet. Bolstering the bubble-colonies defenses with more conscript soldiers (those that had been taken alive, then implanted with cybernetics making them practically droids). Air units began constant patrols around the cities, but they never left the 'safe zone' limits. That job would be taken up by another branch of the Staeviks war machine..

"The Ghosts of Zur" was a fitting title bestowed upon the unit. The idea was to create a droid army in the quickest, cheapest way possible. Why make parts when you already have them made?
It was to outfit the corpses of the dead with a few components, restarting the body's muscles, and halting the decomposition process. These new droids would be outfitted with weapons for limbs, then sent into the night out into the wilderness. Their target was anyone living outside the safe zones. The few people that survived their encounter with this new unit, would tell stories of their comrades being dragged off dead or alive, screaming into the night. never to be seen again. (where they'd be turned into the 'ghost' unit if dead or forced to become a conscript)

Nobody expected something like this. The early effectiveness of this unit even surpassed the Staevik's own thoughts. It was demoralizing. Fighting somebody you once knew. Knowing they are no longer the person you knew or in some cases loved.

-------------------------------------------------------

(a little note: The staevik are not really the best of people. Specializing in tech, they'll do almost anything to keep themselves in power. These 'ghosts' ARE NOT ZOMBIES, they do not infect people. they are dead bodies converted into walking droids)

Assault on the Kasparov blockade

This is my move against :iconshabazik: in the Turn based RP war we have in his "world of aiers" setting. I didn't have any factions in it so we just used my factions from "the colonists" because fuck it, why not? This has nothing to do with my "The Colonists" Concept by the way.

The Combined Armies Armada has arrived to break the Kasparov CIA blockade against the Staevik held Zur Dominion colonies. www.deviantart.com/art/Kasparo…
Almost the Entirety of the Terran Naval Armada as well as the remaining Xenos fleets combine to create such an armada. Plus the additional help of some mercenaries of the talented :icondaemoria: and 20% of the Staevik Armada from Zur.

Your blockade stands no chance, :iconshabazik: !!!

----------------------------------------------------

It was the same as always. Patrol space, stop any outside ship from entry. Not like anyone had really arrived since those "Terrans" or whatever their called. The Shik radar specialist just sighed and moped over the array of monitors. "Why hadn't I been specialized in security?" she thought. "At least then I wouldn't be bored. Those security shiks get to hang out with those Terrans whilst I'm cooped up on deck. How lame."

The radar beeped.

The Shik sat up. Not sure weather or not she had heard correctly, she sat there in silence, and tried to hear the ping noise again. But nothing. She put her head back down inbetween her arm and tapped her fingers against the console.

Beep

There it was again. She jolted back up, focusing on the radar. Nothing happened, but she would not be deterred. She knew what she heard.

Beep

The radar showed contacts coming the direction of Zur. "uh... Captain?" She said, glancing up to her officer, as more crewmembers raced over to the radar specialist.

The captain looked down at the screen. It showed about 40 contacts coming from Zur towards their fleet. "All hands prepare for combat! this is not a drill!" The captain shrieked. "Man the horn and tell the others we're about to see combat!"

The Staevik ships were coming into view.

"Those idiots won't stand a chance.." the captain smirked, "I don't care how big their ships are, they're going down."

Beep

The radar sounded again. The captain glanced back down to her despair. More dots began to show up beneath their own ships. And then Hundreds more from the Goeliathian sector. "It's a trap! we're being ambushed!"

-----------------------------------------------------------

Vice Admiral Kirov Stolki walked up to the bridge. "I want a full report."

"ADMIRAL ON DECK!" One of the crewman shouted as the entire bridge snapped a salute.

"At ease!" Admiral Stolki commanded, "What is the situation of our forces?"

"Sir! It appears the enemy is caught off guard their forces are confused about the attack."

"Good, prep the Railguns to fire on my mark!" Stolki ordered

"One last thing, sir! The Mercenaries are requesting their money now." One of the deckhands said

"Leave that to me." The Admiral replied, before tapping some buttons on the holo-screen. "We promised them pay, and by whatever god these people believe in they'll get it!" He said, hitting the transfer button. "They should be getting a generous donation from the Interstellar Terran Bank, any second now."

"Sir, all fleets in range. Requesting permission to fire."

The admiral looked out the window. "Fire."

-------------------------------------------------------------

Cannons from every direction pelleted the lines of the Kasparov ships, before the armada immediately broke off into three main battlegroups. All moving down the lines of the Kasparov fleet. The Staevik ships were reporting contact from their sector as well as the mercenaries reporting their ambushes all over the blockade line. The battle for control of the Zurian Dominion had begun.

Take that Shabazik. Your fleet shall stand no match against the combined assault of the fleets of Xenon, Terra, Staevik, and our new friends :icondaemoria: !

Assault on Kanyikia

$
0

Part of my ongoing war in the world of Aiers environment against it's creator :iconshabazik: using the characters and factions of my "the colonists" concept.

This is my move against :iconkanyiko:

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The merciless missile bombardments of mostly Republic outer colonies cost a few million lives of the humans of the Republic, and even resulted in the Destruction of the Kashirim homeworld of Kaezid. This resulted in the impeachment of previous Prime Minister Gerard Giano, and the immediate election of a far more aggressive leader: Lucif Baldwin. The vote of a full scale invasion was almost unanimous. Whilst the Kanyikians were occupied with Xenos fleets and the Staevik, the Republic mobilized the entirety of it's fleets (minus a small reserve fleet) and immediately sent them to war. The use of missiles and specialty missile weapons was a threat that would no longer be easily ignored. The Republic had trained and prepared it's leaders for the eventuality of missile bombardments and how to counter them.

The lack of self control even persuaded two enemies of the Goeliathian Cohilition to join the Goeliathians against the missile crazy, unpredictable Kanyikians.

Donning the Kanyikians as cold-blooded, crazy psychopaths that needed to be removed from the galaxy, the highly beurocratic machine known as the republic pulled almost all the stops out. Revenge was the only thing anyone cared for. Revenge is what they will have.

Under the new leadership, and a generous donation of some military officers by the Terran military, the Republic would have everything they would need.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Through the blackness of space came a flurry of missiles. Almost out of nowhere. A combination of Interstellar Ballistic Nuclear Missiles to a wide range variety of Specialty Asteroid destruction missiles. (7,550 missiles total to be exact.) Aimed at the various moons of the Free Colony of Kanykia, Satillites, and the planet itself. Masking the United Colonial Republic's armada. Their one. BIG. Total. Armada. Thousands of ships, Battleships, Missile defense ships, radar interceptors, cruisers, destroyers, carriers, Orbital bombardment ships. Everything was here. They were prepared for anything.
(even missile attacks to be specific, which I learned the Colony of Kanyikia has almost no missiles left to counter attack or defend with; thanks to a post of the lovely :iconkanyiko:)
Then, 12 ships of House Crimson Falke arrived ( :iconcrimsonfalke:) joining in on the armada's assault.

Everyone was ready. The missiles exploded (not confirmed what they hit or how many were intercepted), but gave the Armada enough time to advance on the Colony.

Guns pointed at the Kanyikian ships, and the rear guard watching for enemy reinforcements, everything was ready. The assault began.

(P.S. :iconkanyiko: that whole comic I drew about the General and Xian playing chess talking about "adapting"? that was all about you, lol. Enjoy your worthless missiles! not like they'll do much to the fleet! ahahahahaha!"

Colonization of Theris Prime

$
0
0
Theris Prime was a large gas giant, about five times the size of earth, saturated in Methane gases (CH4). It was colonized in 2645 A.D by the Republic, as well as each of it's two moons, Theris 1 and Theris 2 in 2650.

-Theris Prime:    Originally colonized with the hopes of being able to dig up some sort a valuable material from the planet's surface. Extra care had to be taken during the building of the colony less the colonists cause an accident. The mining colony was completely finished in 2651, housing a decent 300 colonists/workers. The Early stages of the colony were very basic at best, but would soon be improved over time. By 2660, the colony was much larger, housing around 1,000 people. There had been expansions to the colony and eventually there were two colonies connected by three different access tunnels on the surface. In just 5 more years the Theris Prime had multiplied it's population to 6,500, and having a total of four colony-cities on the surface. Unfortunately, tragedy struck in 2669, when it's 5th and newest colony-city had a mining accident. It hadn't properly vented out the mine shaft resulting in methane leaking into the mines. A spark from one of the mining vehicles caused the chemical mixture in the air to explode, destroying the entire city. By the time cities 3 and 4 had known what was going on, the fireball had already made it's way through the access tunnels and destroyed them. The two remaining cities avoided destruction by closing their access tunnels, and locking down the city. By the end, the total loss of life was 4,246 people. In the end, the Republic recalled the remaining colonists from Theris Prime, thinking it was too costly to risk another accident. The colony was abandoned, and the survivors were relocated.
-The mining of Theris Prime:    Early mining of the colony turned up empty handed. However, one year after the mining began, the colonists pulled up platinum deposites. Pure unaltered platinum ore. The Republic quickly took interest. Platinum was used inside it's ship making and mining had gone south in most other colonies. Quickly dispatching more ships and more colonists the mining was to continue. Theris Prime was looking to become the Platinum capital of the Republic for a time. However, the accident forced the republic's hand into abandoning the project.

-Theris 1:    When the colony on Theris Prime had begun to grow exponentially, landing a ship on the planets surface had become a problem. The colonies had grown too fast, and no ship that could actually land on a methane planet was large enough to supply the planet continuously. So the Republic decided to use the first moon (Almost the same size as Earth) as it's waypoint. The colony established, and it was supplied with numerous specialty landing crafts to be able to land planetside without causing a major incident. As the colonies on Theris Prime grew, so did the one on Theris 1. By the time of the disaster Theris 1 had a total of 1,300 colonists. But when the colonies on Theris Prime were abandoned, there was no reason for those on Theris 1. The waypoint colony would also be abandoned as there was no longer a need for it.

-Theris 2:    Theris 2 was surprisingly habitable. It was much smaller than the size of Earth, and had very few pockets of water, yet the air of the planet's surface was good enough to support human life without the need of a mask. The moon's surface was mountainous and was that of a tundra, with very few natural plants. It would be colonized the same time as Theris 1. The Republic had high hopes for a self-sustaining Theris System. They had hopes that Theris 2 could be converted into a farming colony, after a little bit of Terraformation. in that sense they were correct. After 2655, with just some slight alterations to the moon's surface, the Republic deemed it ready for farming. The colony of 456 had begun operations to turn the moon into a farm planet, to supply Theris Prime. After the accident in 2669, the colonies were abandoned. All of them except the one on Theris 2. It was habitable, and it had the ability to sustain it's own environment, aside from a yearly drop-off of supplies or two. Theris 2 would strive on. 104 years later, in 2773, Theris 2 was completely covered. It had it's own cities, towns, and it was covered in farmlands. It was fully sustainable as it's own colony. Unfortunately, it was never allowed to recolonize Theris Prime, because the Republic wanted to avoid another tragedy.

Theris Prime remains the biggest pocket of untapped natural platinum in the Republic. Forever a ghost town.

I wanted to upload more of my "The Colonists" concept. Planets, ships, colonies, armies, etc. Why not start my day off with a colony?

The Free Colony of Oasis. A largely desert planet about 7 times the size of earth, founded by a US colonial ship (back when Earth's countries were still un-unified) in 2233 A.D. The planet received the name Oasis because of the large ocean on the planet, as well as several smaller ones scattered about. From space, they looked like little Oasis's, surrounded by green plantlife. There was no need to Terraform the planet either. Conditions were well enough to sustain human life on their own.

It was originally colonized as a waypoint an refueling station to incoming colonial vessels of the allied powers. But as the times changes, and when the UCR took complete control every government, the exploration vessels started to slow. The Republic saw the exploration and colonization of a way to keep the human population from getting overcrowded on a recovering Earth (after ww3). But since most of humanity had abandoned Earth at this point, the Republic's excursions into the void has stopped. They began working on the infrastructure of the colonies they already owned. However, outer colonies like Oasis had been almost completely forgotten by the UCR. The colonists of Oasis began to take it upon themselves to improve their world and sustain themselves. The soil around the freshwater oceans was extremely fertile, and farming became the colonists primary job, selling their extra crops to the other colonies nearby which could not sustain themselves without UCR support, or trading the supplies for metals and building materials.

Over the years the Cities of Oasis grew, the buildings had become taller and it population grew. Several surrounding colonies would look at awe  when they'd visit the white sun-bleached buildings, or visit the Oceans. The capital city (aslo called Oasis [Oasis City]) had become a large tourist location for those who could afford inter-colonial travel.

Finally in 2432, when the UCR's eyes had shifted to the outer colonies, it was too late. They had practically formed their own governments and become self sufficiant. When the UCR began to invoke it's laws and regulations in the free colonies it was met with extreme resistance. The People of Oasis were among the first few colonies to rebel. (The first to rebel was Xenon) The outer colonies had lived alone and had been abandoned by the UCR for so long that they felt the UCR had no right to intrude. After years of fighting, the Republic and resistance forces finally settled on a treaty, giving colonies within a certain grid of the known galaxy their own sovereignty, weather they wanted it or not. Oasis lay just on the border of UCR controlled space and the Free Colony Zone, it just barely made it into the FCZ. When the war ended, the colonies had what they wanted, and there was peace.

The peace lasted near 80 years before everything collapsed, and the Free Colonies went to war.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

This pic shows some of the Oasis soldiers lounging about. Automated combines in the background plowing the fields. Thought this pic would add some insight into the colony of Oasis.

In the background you can see 2 of Oasis's 3 moons, one of which is a forest planet, also terraformed to sustain human life, however the only things up there are some satallite arrays, a military outpost and one small city.

The military of Oasis used primarily a modified version of the old US colonial marine armor. Made a little more lightweight, because the planet is usually in the 90's and can possible get all the way to 120 degrees, except for the coastal cities which always have a nice 70-80 degree winds. The tanks, jets, and even their navy resemble the old US ships from way back when.

The Character on the left is actually a redrawn version of this guy: goeliath.deviantart.com/art/Ba… PFC Ethan Wright of the FCO Armed forces. The guy on the right has no name yet.

I have started to upload more of my "The Colonists" concept (just a concept). Oasis has always been one of my favorite Free colonies

Xenos Shiks

On an Undisclosed top secret Xenos cloning facility on an unknown planet......

"I hope these clones are up to standards, there's too few of them at the moment sir, but that's because we have to dispose of the faulty ones. It's difficult making a copy of an already copied strand. We're just not sure how many times the original subject has been duplicated. It's not like our own units, where the DNA comes straight from the source.." The Scientist said, quickly following behind the officer.

"Disposing of them? How? If any trace of this project gets out we could be in deep shit. Where are the faulty clones going?" Brigadier General Zarkov said, turning his head slightly to the scientist behind him.

"Shiks sir..." The scientist said meekly.

"What?"

"Em. They're called shiks from what I understand.. not clones.." He replied.

"I don't care what they're called. I want to see what we have made so far and I want to make sure we're not leaving any traces behind. This whole operation is top secret, do you understand?!" Zarkov said, turning around and raising his finger at the scientist.

"Ah, yes sir.." The science official raised a finger and tapped a small ear piece, before a holographic screen appeared before his face. "I'll call them out." He said before an armored door opened up to a large hanger bay filled with Shiks in tightly knit formations.

"Is this all??" Zarkov said turning around to the official.

"Erm. Yes at the moment. Most of the pods are being used on our own military units, sir.."

"hm. Well lets just see how well the training programs worked.." Zarkov said before turning back to the 500 shiks. "Company! Attention!" He called out, before the shiks snapped to attention, and giving a salute to the officer entering the room. Zarvok Saluted back and the Shiks returned to attention, "At least they know this much.." Zarkov muttered before walking down the ranks of shiks.

"Ah yes. The Terrans made it quite clear that if they are to train these shiks they wanted some discipline already instilled in them." The science official said. "We've been tampering with their chemical composition of the brain making them-"

Zarkov cut the scientist off "I don't care what you did so long as these CLONES are up to par. The Terrans called for 1,000 of them. I want the rest of these clones finished." He said before something caught his eye.

It was within one of the ranks of Shiks, there was one leaning over the rest of the ranks, breaking the formation.

"It looks like you haven't rooted out all the faulty ones, doctor." Zarkov said, proceeding down the ranks, grabbing the Shik's arm.

"Ow! Hey!" The Shik whimpered.

"Shut up!" He said, tossing her out into the front of the scientist. "Look at this! Her eyes are even the wrong color. These clones all have blue eyes, she has green! I thought you were weeding out the faulty copies!?"

"Em, we are sir, but with production going as slow as it is, we thought a few minor faults could be passable.. Eye color, height, breast size-"

"Go through the ranks again! Weed out the faulty copies!" He ordered before walking away.

"Yes sir...." The scientist said, sighing.

"Please! Don't kill me! I've only just been made!" The Shik pleaded, looking around to all of the disgusted faces of her sister-shiks looking back at her.

The official looked back at her, then to the ground. "I'm sorry." He said, before two armed drones came over and grabbed her.

"Please! I don't want to die! Please!" She cried, being dragged out of the room.

He looked at the ground, before leaving the room, hearing the whispers of the Shiks.

"She wasn't fit to live."

"Ugh. Imperfection is what she was."

"At least she won't go messing anything up."

He exited the room. His job usually was an easy one. making clones of the population, there were never any problems with faulty units. This was the first time his job meant killing someone. "I have to do what's right..." he muttered, before running down the corridor after the faulty Shik. He turned down into another smaller room, where the drones had been forcing her into a pod for organic disassembly. "Wait!" he shouted to the two guards. "This one is being recalled back to the line of duty. Let her out." he commanded.

The two drones looked at each other, shrugged then opened the pod doors. The Shik leaped from the pod, wrapping her arms around the official, tears strolling down her cheeks. "Thank you! Thank you! thank you!" She cried, "Thank you so much!"

The official took her by the hand, and signaled the guards to stay put as he lead the Shik back into the hallway. "I'm going to get you out of here. There's a Terran stealth ship coming, where an officer is going to come inspect the others... I'm going to get you on that ship. They will take good care of you." He promised

She just looked back up at him.

"I can't keep you here. They'll kill you. I have civilian clothes you can wear to escape... though im not sure if the chest size will fit you. I'll put in the request to have you... my 'niece' removed from the planet." He said, before leading her into his office. I just need you to lay low. I'll have a different guard, one that hasn't seen you take you to the ship." he said, tossing some clothes to her, and an ID. "I want you to live." He said, grabbing her hand, and placing a flashdrive in it before standing up and walking to the door. "I've done something terrible... please.. if there is a god out there.. let this be my retribution.." he muttered, before walking out.

The shik looked at the ID. It read: Abbigail Hurst. She looked at the desk, a plaque was on it. The name of Dr. Verrick Hurst.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was hours later, after the Terran ship had come and gone (with Hurst's 'daughter') and Dr. Hurst had found himself leading a different man to another much larger hanger. This time by a small armored side door instead of opening the entire bay door. The room was dimly lit. Silhouettes of humanoid figures littered the room in neat formations.

"I've done as you asked..." Hurst said. staring at all the figures in the room. There must've been thousands in the room. An entire Battalion's worth.

"Is this it?" The man said.

"No. We've got at least four more battalions on the way.." Hurst said

"And how many are aware of this project?"

"Just you and I. Nobody else had any idea what we were doing. I told them the cloning process was slow because the main army needed it."

"Good."

A tear rolled down Hursts cheek, as a pistol was raised to the back of his head. "I'm sorry.." He whispered.

The gunshot was never heard outside of the Hanger.

Vice Admiral Kirov Stolki

On of my Terran Officers and a recurring character throughout the story concept.

Vice Admiral Stolki is the best friend of High General Rorick James Helmar goeliath.deviantart.com/art/Hi…

The two met during the Xenos invasion of Absos, a terran industrial planet. Stolki was just a Junior Lieutenant aboard the T.F. Pheonix, a Terran Battleship, which during the Xenos attack, was crippled and forced to retreat, abandoning Absos and the soldiers behind. When the counter attack happened, the T.F Pheonix was in the vanguard of the fleet. The Terran forces below, were under a Xenos counter attack after losing their base to the small Terran force. Stolki volunteered to go down witht he landing party of marines to reinforce the Terran army units below. Stolki and his marines would bravely fight their way through Xenos lines, and carve a path straight to the pinned down Terran force. The two combined units would stand their ground as the Xenos again, reformed, surrounded, and counter attacked. When the Xenos blockade of the planet finally retreated, the Xenos infantry turned and fled.

Stolki would be promoted to Lieutenant afterwards, and then would be promoted a year later after the resignation of the Lieutenant Commander, who put a request that Stolki take his place.

Stolki would be reassigned to the forward Naval counter attack on the Xenos forces and would not see Helmar again for two more years. Finally, the two would meet again when Helmar's unit would be attached to Stolki's fleet: The 2nd Terran Fleet. The two would become very good friends, and when Stolki became the Admiral of the 2nd fleet, he would dedicate it to Helmar's unit, and become the most elite naval fleet known to the Terran Empire.

Frozen War Pg13

Last Battle of Zur

For a little dramatic effect listen to this while you imaging a helpless battle raging: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4oInT…

For my RP move against :iconshabazik:

They marched. Onward, without thinking, without feeling. To a shallow grave.

All they could do was watch. Watch as their bodies took over. Watched as their bodies fought for them. They were no longer in control. No retreat. No surrender.

The became 'ghosts'

------------------------------

The last battle of Zur was the final push to overwhelm and eliminate the remaining resistance forces. The rebels of :iconarmygeneral13: and the mercenaries of :iconwalking-maelstrom: at an entrenched position. The attack began before the rebels reached to position, as everyone began to feel laid back and relaxing. They thought they weren't going to be hit this early. They were all wrong.

-----------------------------

Yuri could only watch. Watch as his body took over completely. It was the Last Stand protocol. Initiated by the commanding Staevik officers, the implants within the Staevik soldiers would completely take over the body. There would be no retreat or surrender now. Their bodies became droids, marching on their own.

He watched, as his body dragged him closer to the front, he could feel the rounds hitting his armor. Some even piercing it. He felt the pain and cried out, like hundreds of other soldiers. His body would continue. It would not stop.

------------------------------

During the final battle, as Kasparov forces lead by :iconshabazik: tried to desperately land reinforcement mercenary forces of :iconixisnyx: to reinforce the wavering line of defenders. Hand to hand combat was already ensuing within the first few ranks on the position. It became a clusterfuck. Rebel forces panicked and began shooting like madmen, some rounds even resulted in friendly fire casualties. The trenches that were dug in by :iconwalking-maelstrom: began to fill with enemy, forcing his men to retreat to a higher position. Bullets and plasma lit up the sky as the screams of thousands echoed across the valley.

There were even a few instances where a Staevik soldier would be seen crying as he fought. Fought like a machine. Like a 'ghost'.

-------------------------------

The drawing had too much going on for me to try and make a detailed coloring, so i got lazy and just did a easier coloring method. Don't question it!

Final Moments of Zur2

In the last moments of what would later be called the "Purging of Zur" during the panic, one Staevik unit within the city had a change of heart. Their unit was too far from the battle raging with the rest of the rebels, so their commander had no need to enact the "Last Stand" protocol. Instead, as Kasparov made it clear they weren't here to save the people, the Staevik commander: Commander Arnov opened the armored doors to a Staevik armored bunker beneath the city, and his unit began letting the some 5,000 people of the capital into the bunker. As the bunker began to fill, it became clear there would be no more room for the people to survive down there if it became overstuffed. rations would become a problem, so to protect the people they had to seal the gates early. Save at least some of the people. Before the gates were closed, a lone soldier walked out of the crowd, carrying an orphaned child into the bunker. Her parents killed in rubble falling from the collapsing bubble surrounding the city. Not a single staevik soldier stayed in the bunker though. They all decided to face judgement for the actions they've done on Zur by death, and let their last actions live on, then to rather live on as cowards and as continued oppressors.

Final Moments of Zur

Listen to this before you begin to read the series of comics: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFWp7y…

Zur was a tragedy.
After the government of Zur surrendered to the Staevik union: goeliath.deviantart.com/art/In… , the planet instantly recieved aid and the betterment of the planet began. It seemed like the planet would thrive, but unfortunately the people were manipulated the people into thinking they were being opressed, though no such action had been taken against the people. Rebellions began within the lower class, using terrorist methods on an otherwise unterrified enemy, who wasted no time cracking down on the population. Opressing the people, and bombing the planet from orbit.
Aid finally came from the Kasparov CIA in the form of mercinaries and weapons sent through using blockade runners. The Zurians had believed these mercinaries were here to save them, along with Kasparov.
The Staevik response to this new threat was to quickly release their new weapons project, by reanimating the bodies of the dead into droid-like beings, with weapons attatched to them. Use their own people to fight them. The method proved to be very efficiant, very quickly: goeliath.deviantart.com/art/Gh… and the rebels began a full retreat: armygeneral13.deviantart.com/a…
The Staevik victory would not last, as Kasparov had immediately sent their largest fleet as well as numerous allies to elimate the heavy dreadnaught and Juggernaut Staevik ships protecting the planet. The Fleet would bravely stand it's ground, but in the end would succumb to the numbers of the Kasparov ships and their Allies, but before then, the Staevik would launch one final assault against the last rebel stronghold and their mercenary allies of :iconwalking-maelstrom: . It was a fight to the death situation. So many lives would be lost attacking and defending the hill, as Kasparov would land more mercenaries to bolster their defenses groundside. But in the end it would not matter. :iconshabazik:'s Kasparov CIA had no intentions of landing, but instead decided to orbitally strike every Staevik position from space. Positions, which were all cities, populated with thousands of civilians. Kasparov did not care. It was not there to liberate, but to destroy.

And the people watched. Watched as their planet burned. As their world crumbled. As their saviors betrayed them.

The Burden of knowing you've just killed off thousands of people must be hard to take in. Even for a Shik. The officers are paid too much to care I'd assume though. Kasparov likes to pay people to pretend things don't just happen.
The Terran Federation is going into overdrive. They will end this war as quickly as possible in a victory on their side.

Also, yay! Rorick Helmar's daughter, Vanessa, makes an appearance. Shit's going down :iconshabazik: , so you might wanna hold onto your pants

The Purging of Zur

$

They would call it "The Purging of New Zur". It was the bombing of the cities filled with the population that the Staevik refused to leave by :iconshabazik:'s Kaparov fleet. In truth, the Staevik left no other alternative for Kasparov. A landing would have been far too costly for them. But the fact still remains. it was because the Staevik refused to leave, refused to back down that this tragedy happened.

Hundreds of thousands of lives would be lost on Zur, almost completely eradicating the population if it were not, however, for a staevik unit in the Capital city. It was because of their change of heart to let in thousands of Civilians into a fortified bunker that many people would live to see another day.

Zur would live again. But the massacre will always be remembered.

I plan to use this as propoganda. That Kasparov and their allies like Kanyikia are nothing but evil power hungry madmen that will stop at nothing to get their way.

"Dammit! My forces are out at Zur barely holding the line whilst you sit back an do nothing!? You promised me aid!"

"I promised you no such thing, Garborick."

"Zur was to be mine! How could you do this?!"

"I delivered you the planets of the Zurian Dominion, as I promised, but that was all. You've done your part like a good pawn and the others have followed."

"Pawn!? How dare you! I demand your ships to reinforce my fleet!"

"You're in no position to make demands here General."

"If thats how you want it I might as well just blow the lid off your little operation!"

"That won't be happening General. I leave no loose ends. In fact, while you have been sitting here talking you haven't noticed my accomplice with the gun to your head."

"What? wha-"

Brain matter and blood splashed across the desk, as the remains of General Garborick fell onto the floor.

"No loose ends... onto stage three."

The hologram flickered, then shut down, as the assassin quickly got to work wiping the memory before security forces would show up.

----------------------------------

Within two days, the Terran forces would assimilate the planets of the Staevik Union, into the Terran Federation. Without leadership and demoralized by the loss of their leader, they fell quite quickly, and without resistance.

----------------------------------

General Garborick is the dictator of the Staevik Union, a faction in my "The colonists" concept

This was a little ditty i did for the Goeliathian wars (an RP with :iconshabazik: in his world of aiers environment with my "the colonists factions") after the

Thats a Trident Company mercenary shooting the general btw (another faction of mine)

also AND THE PLOT THICKENS!!! (after a previous picture with some shiks being clones and a mysterious second batch:  Xenos Shiks )
